At the center of our work is the Connecting Corridors Initiative, a strategic effort designed to support housing options, commercial growth, and cultural preservation across key district corridors.
To move this initiative from vision to ground-level impact, TWREC operates specialized working committees. These active groups allow leaders and practitioners to directly influence where organizational resources are directed, inform the tools needed, and collaborate on high-impact projects.

Live, Work, Play Campaign: Area wide, placed - based online campaign to drive economic development through locally curated stories.
Area Equity Fund: A targeted capital pool designed to bridge funding gaps for equitable housing and commercial initiatives within corridor boundaries.
GIS Housing & Economic Development Dashboard: Interactive spatial mapping and data visualization tools to inform smarter urban planning, land acquisition, and site selection.
Revitalization Toolkit: Standardized guides, regulatory cheat-sheets, and partnership models tailored for local developers, planners, and community leaders.

Visual Tools & Resources Group: Lead the design and roll-out of data assets—including the GIS Housing & Economic Dashboard—and build visual toolkits that empower local developers and planners.
Design & Finance Group: Oversee structural, architectural, and financial modeling behind corridor initiatives, including shaping capital strategy for the Area Equity Fund.
