Submit a Lot

Complete the form below to share a lot that you would like to be considered. Here is the step-by-step workflow for the Lot Activation Program.

  1. Submit Your Application or Site: Apply online as a Community Steward with your site activation proposal (e.g., community garden, pop-up park, or event space) or submit your vacant property as a Property Owner interested in participating.

  2. Site Assessment & Review: Our program team visits the lot to inspect the physical condition, verify boundaries, check for water/power access, and review property details to confirm the site is safe and eligible for activation.

  3. Partnership & Legal Agreement: Once approved, we execute a flexible Land Use License Agreement with the property owner and a Stewardship Agreement with the community applicant, while securing general liability insurance coverage for the site.

  4. Site Prep & Transformation: Work with our team, technical partners, and volunteers to clear trash, install fencing, build garden beds, add seating, or set up lighting to prepare the space for public use.

  5. Grand Opening & Ongoing Activities: Host your launch event and begin running your planned community programs, gatherings, or green space operations according to your regular maintenance schedule.

  6. Quarterly Reporting & Renewal: Submit quick quarterly updates and photos showing site usage and upkeep. At the end of the term, we review the site's success together to extend or renew the partnership.
